How to delete your account
Signed-in users can request deletion from the account area, or by emailing us from the address on the account. We verify the request against the account email before acting on it, and aim to complete verified deletions within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Encrypted backups can retain deleted records for up to 30 additional days before they cycle out. Newsletter subscriptions are a separate list: subscribing does not require an account, so if you also want off the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any issue or say so in your deletion request. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example, total sample counts) contain no personal data and are unaffected.
